I have long had a love affair with Aveda products, so when I heard about the amazing deals offered at The Aveda Institute, I decided to share them with all of you. Locals loves, I repeat love this charming day spa hidden away from the big city in Gaithersburg, MD. Washingtonian Magazine and women everywhere give this salon a big thumbs up for hair, spa treatments and the dreaded Brazilian Wax. If you want the royal treatment from an exceptional staff, complete with snacks and a spot of tea, you must try Cahara. Noteworthy, the location is pricey but no one seems to be complaining.

With amazing facials, wonderful massages, an array of waxing services as well as your manicures and pedicures, it is easy to see why this beauty bastion has been a Northern Virginia favorite for years. Don't let the shopping center façade scare you away. This is one of the best salons that I have found in the DC Metro area. Ask for the owner Lucia, she gives a phenomenal facial. We found it, the elusive aesthetician that actually stays in the room for an entire treatment. And no, not just to clean her equipment, but to offer a relaxing massage and a continuous treatment.
