Locals loves, I repeat love this charming day spa hidden away from the big city in Gaithersburg, MD. Washingtonian Magazine and women everywhere give this salon a big thumbs up for hair, spa treatments and the dreaded Brazilian Wax. If you want the royal treatment from an exceptional staff, complete with snacks and a spot of tea, you must try Cahara. Noteworthy, the location is pricey but no one seems to be complaining.

Serenity has a full menu of spa treatments to select from on your next visit. It is a nice suburban spa with a relaxing waiting area filled with soft light, cucumber water, and lots of new age music playing the background. I really liked my 90 minute massage, but was a little mad at myself for not asking in advance whether it was a male or female masseuse. Make note, ask in advance! Bonus, the Herndon location is located in Worldgate gym. Guests are allowed to make use of the gym before or after a treatment. Noteworthy, the Alexandria location has received a lot of positive press from Washingtonian Magazine for their Couples Massage.
