Okay ladies I am going "old school" with my latest purchase. I have just ordered jean straps. I think the last time I saw these were in the 80s. Who knew they would would be back?
The fashion pairing of skinny jeans and boots have made this item a hot commodity! The straps attach at the bottom of your jeans. They hold jeans in place even after hours of shopping, dining, school drop offs, etc. How else do you keep your jeans safely tucked into your Franco Sarto and Ugg boots?

Keep your eye on CRR.
Many people are not familiar with Chado Ralph Rucci, although his work is widely respected-his prices are quite high and style is a bit more mature than other designers. I am intrigued by his ability to take a simple form, add sheer and cut outs to create art. Rucci's program notes said he was inspired by Pina Bausch, the choreographer who died in June. I am inspired by his fresh eye and execution.

After spending a morning with DC Metro Stylist Joyce Neave, I walked away with a new found appreciation for her profession (read the full story). As I shadowed Joyce during a session, I took meticulous notes as I wanted to report back to readers on every tidbit and tip that she shared.
