Beauty On The Go…

As September looms closer, it is time to acknowledge that life is ready to get VERY busy. Most mothers will concede that mornings can be brutal. By the time you make sure that the kids are dressed, fed and hopefully groomed there is little time for mom.
Here are 10 quick beauty tips from Stylist Joyce Neave of That Mom, Inc. Joyce's easy and practical advice is sure to help you this fall.
- 1. Get a great haircut and color.
- 2. I recommend Yves St. Laurent Touché Éclat. This pen does an amazing job of banishing under eye shadows and brightening skin tone. When choosing, you should select one shade lighter than your skin tone. When applying, don't forget the inner corners of your eyes.
- 3. Bobbi Brown's Sheer Color Cheek Tint in Sheer Pink is perfect to create perky cheeks.
- 4. Try lipstick, I love Treatment Lip Shine SPF15 by Bobbi Brown. It looks great and is good for you!
- 5. If your nail polish has chipped take it off. Nothing says overworked and too busy than "dog chewed" hands. HINT- If painting your nails seems impossible with small children; try polishing your nails in the car while you are still in the driveway. A movie or radio might be a great distraction for little ones. Once done, you are on your way. By the time you arrive at your destination your nails will be dry. Remember...don't paint and drive and always crack the windows for ventilation.
- 6. A great must have this season - a pair of jeans. Try the skinny leg jean boot cut.
- 7. Hot shoes for this season are wedged boots.
- 8. Invest in a great jacket. It doesn't matter what the stain blob is on your shirt -no one will see it under your fabulous coat! For this season pick something fun. Take your military inspired jacket from last year and add a trendy scarf (animal print, green, sequined or whatever you like.)
- 9. If your ears are pierced - wear earrings. Diamond earrings (real or not) will dress up even a T-shirt. If your children are older try hoops or dangles.
- 10. Splurge on a fantastic purse...it will make all your outfits, and you, look like a million bucks.
