Classy Kids Consignment organizes three sales a year - a spring sale, a back-to-school sale, and a fall/winter sale. We are not a store and do not carry or store inventory. Everything sold is consigned by families wanting to recycle their children's outgrown items. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get great items at a great savings. The best items sell quickly so shop early! Children are allowed at the sale but we encourage you not to bring them since the sale is crowded and not the most fun place for little ones. We have INCREDIBLE BARGAINS on gently used items for infants, moms-to-be, children and teens. We sell Children's clothing and shoes from preemie to junior sizes. Exceptional clothes including Gymboree, Hanna Andersson, Limited Too, Abercrombie, Hollister, American Eagle, etc. We also carry maternity clothes and accessories, breast pumps, nursing items, etc. In addition, children's furniture, cribs, high chairs, dressers, changing tables, toddler beds, and gliders are also available. This is a cute store that has a nice offering of infant, toddler and children's apparel as well as some furniture and lots of toys and puzzles. If you want to consign, take a number...literally. Those wanting to consign need to get on a 3 month waiting list. If you are customer, note that closing hours are non-negotiable as the owner has a little in daycare. All in all, it is worth the trip. Note wait for the mid-month special tag sales that happen on the 15th of every month. FYI, the website is connected to a Fairfax County directory. It does not provide any pertinent information.

This is a sweet store that started out of a passion for kiddies clothing. The owner started her journey by selling her wares in Eastern Market. She has since moved onto her boutique located in downtown DC. The store has an eclectic mix of new and consigned items. Prices are reasonably and the selection will motivate you to make many more trips that won't tell your husband about. Noteworthy, check out the website to see what "fun" things are coming. After hours shopping parties and art & crafts for Junior are just two of the unique offerings of this DC gem.

Out with new and in with the vintage! If the perfect 1960s empire waist cocktail dress is your idea of utopia, than you have found the Promised Land. Groovy, edgy, sophisticated are all words that spring to mind when you first enter Remix Vintage. The fashion fiesta includes an eccentric mix of jewelry, accessories, vintage gowns, shoes and even designer dudes like a Henri Bendel suit and a Valentino blouse. If you are one of those ladies that shuns the ordinary and likes a funky fashion mix, you must check out this shop. Noteworthy, Remix Vintage resides on my version of the "Miracle Mile" in the Del Ray section of Alexandria.

The Purple Goose is a lovely store that has blended quality consignment wear with fresh finds from Robeez, Skip Hop, Fleurville, Bobox shoes and darling dresses. The shop sits among the too cool shops and restaurants in the trendy Del Ray section of Alexandria. Be warned, don't let the word "consignment" lull you into a false sense of "sale". The majority of the items are high-end boutique style clothing with prices to match. There are some discounts in the consignment section, but you are still looking at an average of $39.00 for "slightly worn" items. If you have a special event or a generous grandparent, this is the place to head to for the most beautiful dresses and handsome attire for your little man.
