Stride Rite is one of the best and most trusted names in children's shoes. The website even has a printable e-fit tool to measure your child's shoe size, but I would still recommend going to store for a proper fitting. Noteworthy, some Stride Rite stores in the DC Metro area will offer replacement shoes if you child grows a full size in a three month period. Dulles Town Center offers this service.
